IT BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER – DYNAMICS 365 IMPLEMENTATION

A multinational company undergoing a strong expansion process, based in the Bages region (Catalonia), is looking for an IT Business Unit Manager – Dynamics 365 Coordinator/Implementation Specialist.

Working closely with external partners, the successful candidate will be responsible for DYNAMICS 365 digitalisation projects, as well as the administration of the local IT infrastructure.

*Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as Functional Coordinator and Key User in the implementation of business solutions (ERP, MES and satellite applications), ensuring alignment with the plant’s industrial processes.
  • Collaborate in the definition and validation of requirements, participating in solution design together with the Corporate IT team and implementation partners.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the implemented solutions in order to participate in project decision-making, provide functional support after go-live, maintain systems, and identify and manage basic functional and technical incidents, escalating them to the corporate level when required.
  • Perform technical tasks related to the plant environment and digitalisation projects, including installation of radio-frequency applications on industrial devices, user management in corporate systems, design and maintenance of Docentric document templates, and basic support for workplace IT incidents.
  • Act as a liaison between the plants, Corporate IT and external providers, ensuring smooth and effective communication.
  • Manage, with external support, the local network, external connectivity and cybersecurity activities.
  • Provide technical support to users, including hardware troubleshooting, software installation and configuration, connectivity issues, etc.

*Requirements

  • Higher or intermediate vocational training / degree in IT, Systems Administration or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP and MES systems, with hands-on experience in Dynamics AX/365 and CAPTOR (essential), including configuration, functionalities and capabilities.
  • Knowledge and experience in systems administration, networking, connectivity and cybersecurity.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Experience in the industrial manufacturing sector, with a good understanding of processes and operations, production requirements, workflows, inventory management, etc.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (approximately 25%).
